Claim balances
Payouts on Anyperp land in a claim balance: USDC and vault shares the program holds for your wallet until you claim them. One transaction, Claim to wallet, moves both into your wallet.
What a claim balance is
Fills, closes, liquidations and settlements are run by keepers, permissionless bots that act on your positions without your signature. When one of those actions pays you, the program credits your claim balance instead of sending tokens to your wallet. Keeper work therefore never depends on your token accounts, and a payout is protected the moment it is credited: the USDC stays in the vault's token account, reserved for you and excluded from the vault's NAV, and the shares stay in the vault's share escrow.
Each wallet has one claim balance with two parts: USDC and vault shares.
What lands there
| Event | What is credited |
|---|---|
| A close fills | the payout: margin plus PnL, less funding, borrow, the trading fee and the keeper fee |
| A position is liquidated | the equity left after the keeper fee and the liquidation fee |
| A market settles | each position's payout at the settlement price |
| An order is cancelled, rejected or expired | the order's escrowed margin |
| A deposit fills | the new vault shares |
| A withdrawal is executed | its USDC |
| A listing bond is returned | the bond |
| A deposit is refunded | the deposit |
Two flows go straight to your wallet instead: Remove margin sends USDC from a position to your wallet in the same transaction, and a proposer's fee share is claimed per market with its own action (Listing a market).
Claiming to your wallet
- Open Portfolio and find "Vault shares and payouts", or open Vault and find Your liquidity.
- "Ready to claim" shows the USDC in your claim balance; "Shares ready to claim" shows the shares, when there are any.
- Press Claim to wallet and approve the transaction.
The transaction moves the full USDC amount and all claimable shares at once into your wallet's token accounts for USDC and for the share token. Your history lists every claim credit with the event that made it.
Using claimable shares without claiming
Vault shares in your claim balance can go straight into a withdrawal. Request withdrawal takes shares from your claim balance first and from your wallet only for the rest, so a deposit can be withdrawn later without claiming its shares in between.
Reading claim balances through the API
GET /v1/me/lp returns claimableUsdc (USDC, 6 decimals) and claimableSharesFixed9 (shares, 9 decimals) for the signed-in wallet. Claiming is the claim_balances action with amountUsdc and sharesFixed9; either may be "0" as long as the other is positive. API describes how a signed action is prepared and sent.
